There’s a scene in one of my favorite movies I Like it Like That where one of the characters says, “It’s gotta hit and when it does it’s going to hit big.” He was referring to the lottery. Since Chino, one of the main characters had been playing the same number every week for years they were for sure it would hit. In due time, eventually, his number would come up.
How many times do we wait for something to happen for us believing in due time it’s going to hit? And when it does it’s going to be big. You have a greater chance at being killed by a vending machine than winning the lottery. Don’t play the lottery with your life. Put yourself in the winning seat. Choose your own number. Choose your own dreams and goals. Set goals. Write them down. And move toward them. The odds are in your favor when you do these simple things.
