A Prayer to be more at Peace

Dear Heavenly Father,

You know I worry and wonder about everything. Why this? Why that? How come? I dwell on things way longer than I should; trying to understand, hypothesize, control. I know I shouldn’t. I come to you today praying for the gift of peacefulness. Help me to be at peace with all things and people even when I just don’t understand. Help my mind and heart to not search for answers but to just rest in Your perfect peace. Help calm my anxiety, my restlessness, and my silent heartbreaks. Show me how to receive the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help me to live the rest of my life in perfect peace no matter what.

In Jesus Name, Amen.
